3 Days Post Op, Having Regrets

Hi everyone, I have been watching this site for months now as I have been preparing for my surgery. I was banded on Monday and tonight (Wednesday) I still feel horrible. My stomach and incisions seem okay, but I have a fever and a horrible headache. Did anyone else experience these same effects after surgery? Thanks, I appreciate any stories you can share.

I was banded on Wednesday, April 18th. I think today has been the worse so far. Whenever I move around my insides hurt. I'm still walking for the gas pains and they are starting to leave. But stomach area is very tender and hurts to get up from a chair or bed. How long does this pain usually last?

Ugh my dog just stepped on the middle of my stomach. That didn't feel so good. I'm 3 days post op today.

You gals will be fine in a few days. My little Cindy steps on my tummy all the time. ugh.

Please make sure you go to the toilet and do not get contstipated...For your sake. its a terrible thing. also Are your cuts hurting from the adhesive? Mine didn...Cant wait to see your tickers go downnnnnnnn

I feel your pain. My little pug (16 pounds) stepped right on my port area...it felt weird. I hope it isn't messed up. I was so protective when I was freshly pre-op but since I have no pain or discomfort...I didn't think about it.

Thanks Cindysmom! Today was a pretty rough day and I'm not out of the woods yet. My GI motility is just not working for me. After a day of two types of laxatives and two enemas, i have to believe Tomorrow will be better.

No regrets

What ever you do. Drink water. Take fiber, Maybe yoiu can get some prune juice. Avoid constipaton at all costs.
