I had my sx last Thursday and I'm feeling much better today. I was wondering does anyone feel like you have to burp but can't? I can feel the band when I'm not even eating.....like when laying down and it feels like its moving. Just curious what you felt a few days post op.

That feeling is very common.

make sure your not drinking with a straw

straws cause more gas

Ok thanks. I also feel like I'm swallowing something when I'm not....... like it's kind of having a hard time trying to go down. I'm not sure how much but he did put some fluid in my band during the surgery.

Felt like that a lot for two weeks and even still on occasion. But it is definately less now. I think I can feel the band when I bend over to reach something on the floor. Or with sudden movements. Weird but I am getting used to it. I was banded 3/13.

I do and I'm rubbing my chest, trying to rub it out, sometimes it works, sometimes I do alittle pounding (not too much as I work in office)
