I was two week post op but pretty much whenever u are comfortable. I was nervous but he was on top and there was no pain at all actually (tmi?) because of the few lbs I dropped it was way more comfy!!

Good info, did not think of this before, was there a time frame like in a csection or child birth?

Dr said 2 weeks for me. He also warned me about having some sort of birth control bc you will be more fertile after losing weight and it's best to wait at least a year. I was banded in April 4,2012 and so far I've lost 55 lbs and as the previous post says its more comfy!!

I think we did after about 10 days, he was ready, but I wasn't interested. :)

I was banded on Aug 1, and I noticed this past Sunday that my port area was hurting during, I just put my hand on the area to help. LOL.

We waited less than a week just be careful if something doesn't feel right then stop, listen to your body. My surgen didn't set a time it was when you felt ready. Good luck!
