Tattoo Question!

Hello! I am planning on getting (another) tattoo on Apr 14th and really want it to go on the inside of my upper arm. I am worried with the weight loss-i still have like another 80 to loose at least- if it will look funny- (its just writing).

Anyone else have or know of anyone with the same issue?

I have a bunch of tattoos. Got them all pre-band and have lost 100 lbs. ink on ankles, back, shoulders, foot. None spread or look incky after the weight loss. You could always do top of your foot -

I just had a bew one done about a month ago. I told the artist my concerns. Sge said the only time ur ink will change is if you gain weight. It doesnt get distorted from weight loss!

I purposely had my only tattoo put on the top of my foot because that's the one place I figured doesn't change a lot when you gain/lose weight. Have you ever seen a latex balloon with writing on it after you blow it up and then deflate it? Not a pretty sight. Personally I'd advise against a tattoo on your arm--unless your arms don't change much--me, I was wearing Water wings (now I still have them--just not as big)

I am going through the same thing. My current tattoo is on my back between shoulder blades at base of the neck. I want two more and the only places that shouldn't change are my wrists and my ankles.

My dilemma is also I work in corp America and I would prefer a more hidden location.

You could always do top of your foot - wont chane with weight loss.

For your inner arm I'd probably hold off until you are closer to your goal weight. I feel like any of the fleshier areas would be at greater risk for distortion.

brwangel - I'm kinda in the same boat. I have a tatt I'd like to either get on the back of my neck or on my write but I'm worried about "professional' appearance.
