I have only had two drinks since surgery (4wks ago), and one time I ordered a Skinny Margarita, and the second I ordered white wine. It is tricky though because you can't drink when you eat, and you can't drink 30 minutes prior, so I had a hard time figuring it out. I found that I was just holding the drink and not even drinking it, but I still felt like I was part of the group, so it worked out! I hope it helps!

Thanks Amanda yes it does help.

I have had margarita's with no problems, however I don't hardly even get a whole one down. I also don't do it often, probably since surgery which was about 9 months ago I've only had maybe 4 or 5 drinking occasions. Have fun on your vacation!!

Lol, I'll be sure to try that!

How long after surgery did you guys wait to have your first drink . I'm going away next weekend for a friends birthday and wasn't sure if it was too soon I had my surgery on Tuesday and I would be just under two weeks out . I don't wanna ruin anything and I really don't need to but if one glass of wine won't kill me then why not.

I had 2 glasses of red wine exactly 2 weeks after my surgery.... Tasted like heaven.

I had no problems:) have fun!!!

Just be very careful and after you drink the wine try to drink a good amount of water to flush the pouch out. I would be a bit worried about letting the acidic wine sit in a fresh pouch. Could cause some irritation.

Yes... Very true. Always have your water!!
