Hi I was banded on 2/26. I can't believe it's almost been a week. Does anyone know of a good post op care program in the Phoenix area? Closer to Chandler would be great.

I can't believe that your Dr doesn't have a monthly support group for you to attend. I'm in NY and my Dr's have monthly meetings at the hospital for all 3 types of bariatric surgeries. I suggest looking online for a private group in your area or ask your Dr to start a support group. If it weren't for the support groups I attended, I don't think I would've been banded. It's best to hear the answers face to face sometimes.

I just had my surgery with dr. Terry Simpson. He is in Phoenix but a great guy and I consider my surgery a definite success. I had no pain at all and actually went back to work for a half day the day after my surgery because I felt so good.

He does any post-op care and has a great website plus monthly support groups.
