Need To Get Back On Track.

I was banded on July 5,2011. I have lost 38 lbs total. I have recently lost my job and suffer from depression anyway. My question is what steps have others taken to get back on track? Do I go back to liquids or mushes? I have 4.5 in my band and feel some restriction but man does the bad food go down easy!! When I eat what I am supposed to I can't eat much but sometimes I just need to eat and will grab "bad" food. It is so frustrating!! I also am having a hard time getting motivated to exercise. Thanks for any suggestions. I don't usually post but am very worried that I will never lose this weight.

  • I know! Depression really plays a huge part of your overall health and I think if I could just get out of this rut I could lose again. At least you are going to the gym. I might get another fill this

I have been where you are, and you need to get back on Track.

Go to myfitnesspal.com it's free, and sign up.

You can log everything that you eat, and the exercise that you get, and view other peoples diary see what they are eating, and get ideas for yourself.

I am there, and so are allot of other people from here. So give it a shot. It's worth it

This way you can go back to te basics. for starts.

I know! Depression really plays a huge part of your overall health and I think if I could just get out of this rut I could lose again. At least you are going to the gym. I might get another fill this next week and see if it helps. Thanks for responding. I don't want to be a Debbir downer but I don't know anyone who has had the band done so it help to talk.

I feel the same way I actually work with a girl who had it done 3 months after me and shes down like 5 sizes where im down a size and then not losing any weight for 2 months I have been feeling very down today so dont feel your being a downer im glad I came to this sight which I just came on today cause I as well felt at a tremendous lose and that im the only one this isn't working on ,im trying to stay very positive but i feel at a loss as well i see my doctor early march so im trying to stay at the gym and do my best to stay 3 meals a day just know your not alone

It's difficult...I think you need to see doctors, both for depression and then for possibly another fill. I'm not sure that getting a fill will help with the bad foods....I never have an issue with those either!
