I think just exercising, in particular weight training/toning. And time. And lucky genes!

No we haven't, that is why we are all part of this community. Had we been able to lose and keep weight off without surgery we wouldn't have needed to get banded.

If you are talking post - op lapband ... then age and genetics definitely play a part in how your body recovers from weight loss. If you are left with flabby bits that could be helped and toned with exercise then i would seek the help of a personal trainer to specifically target those areas with specialised training. It may well be if its just loose skin like i have tons of all the exercise in the world wont make any difference to it, then its time to seek the plastic surgery route :)

Hi:

You should check out Amy's blog. She's in fabulous shape without a tummy tuck. I think it's related to good genes and hard workouts. Quite inspirational when you see her pictures in a bikini.

Good luck!

many variables, age, skin tone, kids, how much weight you had vs height and how active. I think sitters like me- who sit all day at work, have it worse, but working on that at the gym.

you can tone up underlying muscle but you cannot change the skin!
