What Liquid Medications Do You Take?

I have a LOT of congestion and I bought DayQuil but it doesnt seem to be working. What liquid medication do you take for congestion/cough/cold? Also what do you take for Allergies?

Also, for the Ladies, I am cramping like nobody's business. I usually take excedrine. Do you all still take what you did before and just crush it up or is there a liquid medicine you take.

So far I can take small pills without an issue. For instance, I still take Ibuprofen but I am sure to get the tablets. I also take Excedrin but again, the tablets. I do fine with the small round tablets.

I have one pill I cut in half (Baclofen) but I had to check with my pharmacist first. This is important because some pills are made to be time release and if you break/cut them, it can really effect the dosage.

I'd try an OTC decongestant that comes in small pills.

THANKS Mis73!

I'm still able to swallow pills with no prob....that's prob why I'm not able to shed any lbs, no restriction what so ever....

I am able to take all my pills, as long as it is not in the morning because I am pretty tight. My doctor said no ibuprofen so I take Tylenol Cold when I need to. I believe they make it in a liquid also. For allergies my PCP gave me a nasal spray to use when they bother me. Hope that helps! Feel better!

Maybe I'm wrong, but couldn't not being able to take pills mean that you are too restricted? I have been able to take most pills from the beginning. Even now, I am pretty restricted and am losing well and can take Dayquil.

I take bactrim for acne and my doctor gave me a prescrip in liquid form. I take an acid reducer that is a capsule but she said I could open it up and sprinkle on apple sauce. A lot of the kids medecine is liquid you just have to take more of it as an adult.
