thank you all very much. i have been walking around the hospital and eating my sugar free popcicles. will be leaving at noon, to start my journey at home. im soo ready!!!

I was banded on 1/23/12 as well. I actually had a lot of pain post op. A lot of nausea as well. No vomiting. Released on Tuesday. Right now 1/4 cup of liquids every hour. It's hard to sip so little liquid so slowly when I am so dehydrated. Otherwise, no complaints. Nervous, because I really want to do well. I want to be a success story. Today for the first time it hit me how much I had a love affair with food. How much it consumed my daily plans...without food I have so much more to think about. Oh well...I am more excited. I can't wait to be fully healed so I can start exercising as well.
