First Fill Tomorrow Morning!

I haven't posted in a while but thought I would since I'm getting my first fill tomorrow. I'm so glad too because I can't stop eating! I was banded on 12/12/11 and I did really well until it came time to eat soft foods. Of course that came right after Christmas and everyone was bringing all their left over goodies. I told myself along with the evil goodie doo-ers that I didnt care and that I didnt want them. Well that was a lie! Whenever someone would walk away, I would go over and grab something. What the heck? I felt like a drug addict! I was hiding the fact that I was eating this stuff! Wow, I tried to blame it on my "time of the month" Then the guilt would come. That is some horrible guilt.

So... I'm glad that I'm going tomorrow for my fill. I feel like I have restriction at times but at other times, I can eat and eat and it doesn't affect me until hours later. It's weird. As of today I had lost 9lbs since the day I was banded. It goes up and down 3-4lbs a day, so time to stop weighing in and just do it when I go to my fill visits only. I thought it would be easier than this, but I guess I'm still trying to find what works for me and I know it takes time. I did fit into a size 14 pants today though! Nice and roomy! Plus everyone is saying how much thinner I look, it's some nice motivation, thats for sure :-)

Dont be so hard on yourself, everyone goes through whats called 'bandster hell', but also u may not feel much difference with the first fill, so u need to get ready to exert some more willpower and start as u mean to carry on. U can eat a lot of food on around 1200 calories a day as long as you choose wisely. Make sure u are exercising and burning the calories to create a deficit.

Its hard work but look how good you feel already losing the weight you have, use that feeling to help motivate you further:)

Good luck !

I feel they same way I sure thought it was going to be so easy and I would just melt the pounds off. I went out to eat with my husband and kids Sunday night. I thought I would be good and while everyone ate off the buffet I got the salad bar. Will I ate 2 plates of salad with some pasta. I sure thought I was going to pay for it later because I just knew I ate to much, but nope I was fine. My first band fill is 01/20/2012 and I can't wait. Good Luck!
