Post Lap Band Surgery Bms

Ok, sorry if this is TMI, but I have got to talk about it! My BMs after surgery hurt!!! Due to the smaller amount of veggies/fiber I am eating I think is causing me to have harder BMs. What should I take to help this problem? I drink lots of Water already. I can't live like this anymore! I dread going bc it hurts!! I have been dealing with it off and on for 2.5 months now.

I was having the same problem. I started drinking Metamucil every other morning with the some orange juice. It seems to really be helping :)

I add pure oat bran to yoghurt .. it makes a yoghurt more filling and helps cholesterol and gives u a ton of fibre :)

never had a problem since i starting using it, also i eat prunes which also help that end of things :)

Just know you're not the only one. It's a pain (literally) but I've heard taking the fiber stuff helps. I'm looking into that now too. Will probably try the fiber gummies first, since my multi-vitamin and Calcium are gummy too.
