After Post-op Meals

What kind of meals did you guys prepare after your 4week post opt? I'm down 17 lbs and just had my post opt visit with my PA. I'm not restricted at all so I was wondering what meals everyone ate for lunch and dinner that was small portions and filling. I'm sick of same old chicken! I had a lettuce wrap today with lunch meat but finished the whole thing. I don't want to gain weight now that I'm eating solid foods. Any suggestions????

My favorite dinners are flaky fish like tilapia or salmon and steamed veggies. I've been eating alot of bok choy lately made with a little garlic and lemon or some red pepper flakes. I also have made chicken burgers with chopped mushrooms mixed in for some added moisture. I like to mash cauliflower and add a little FF sour cream for mock mashed potatoes. Squash is good this time of year and really filling. I keep turkey meatballs in the freezer and pull out a couple for a quick meal.

Think lean meat and veggie. I eat chicken, fish, porkloin, tuna. For breakfast I have either a protien shake or eggs. I snack on 1/4c nuts and 2 cheese sticks. Pretty rote, but it works for me. Good luck and congrats on your surgery.
