  1. Bandsters, Can't help but feel a bit frustrated. I'm over one month post opt and the weight loss is the same 20 lbs I went for my first fill Dec 2nd and only have lost 2 lbs. I have a realize 11cc band. I couldn't feel the "tight" feeling so my doctor gave me 6 cc! I still don't feel any restriction. I feel full after eating, but often I am hungry. I feel like I am doing a GREAT job eating healthier choices and small portions, but I have a feeling I'm eating too much. I'm working out 2-3 times a week doing Zumba. Any advice???
  2. Congrats! I'm 1 month post op and doing Great! Good Luck on your new journey!
  3. What kind of meals did you guys prepare after your 4week post opt? I'm down 17 lbs and just had my post opt visit with my PA. I'm not restricted at all so I was wondering what meals everyone ate for lunch and dinner that was small portions and filling. I'm sick of same old chicken! I had a lettuce wrap today with lunch meat but finished the whole thing. I don't want to gain weight now that I'm eating solid foods. Any suggestions????
  4. Hey New Bandsters! I have two brand new bags of Protein Meal Replacements! They have never been opened! When I started my pre-op diet a friend of mine had given me hers and I was only on for about 10 days, so I have 2 bags untouched (one chocolate and one vanilla). If interested, direct message me to discuss further : )
  5. I was banded October 28th too and I can sympathize with you! I moved on today to some yogurt and thicker soup but not creamy creamy! Thank God I'm going back to work tomorrow so I'm not at home bored just thinking I want to eat!
  6. Thanks for the advice! I actually ate some Greek Yogurt today and it worked so well, not to mention the taste was GREAT! I will continue to add more foods here and there, but I am concerned about the protein intake.
  7. So I was just banded on October 28th, 2011 and I can't help but feel I'm hungry all the time. I did so well I went home the same day and can honestly say I've had no issues. I still dont think I know what the full feeling is, just keeping my sized to 4oz. I feel like I can go on to mushy foods, but is it too soon?? All I have been drinking is water, broth(wish is disgusting) protein shakes, jello, and popsicles. Now mind you I did this before surgery too so its been like 3 weeks of liquid! I'm dying here! I started drinking Gatorate today to help get some nutrients I may be lacking! When did you guys start yogurt, mashed potatoes, cream of wheat, cottage cheese, eggs? Also, Is it me or does the port seem like its "in the way?" Its hard for me to sit for a long time because I feel like its poking me. Does this go away? Overall I am doing well just that I'm hungry. Any help or words would help? Thanks!
