Strange....

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks post op and I always feel like I have something in my throat....like a piece of food or something. I have no problems eating/drinking, swallowing but it's like there always that little something that doesn't go down.

does anyone else have this??

It goes away. They most likely put a tube down your throat, so it's still soar. Dont worry about it. :)

everyone is intubated for the surgery, but even with the tube being in an hour or so, it can still cause some endotracheal swelling. as long as you are eating and drinking fine, it should not be an issue. i know mine was sore and scratchy for a few days. if you still have concerns, call the doctor.

It's not from surgery.....the sore throat was gone in a few days. Thanks though...
