I am now 5 days post-op from lapband surgery. I am feeling better than yesturday, LOL, but ready to feel good. Heehee. I have four kiddos and a currently deployed husband. I am excited for my new adventure!!

Congrats on being banded and welcome to the boards! You'll find that most people here are very helpful and compassionate.

You are amazing to undertake this by yourself. I am sure it will be a sweet surprise when your husband returns. All the best to you. Take good care of yourself. I love this forum. Thanks for your support. I had a moment of "what did I do!" breakdown when I came home and he wasn't here to help me (or even just dry my tears and tell me it was gonna be worth it!). I am excited to see his reaction when he comes home later this year. I have 4 months to see what I can do before showing off at his redeployment ceremony. LOL. He has been an amazing support...even from 7000 miles away! I am so glad that I found this forum, it helps to have people who have been there/ or are there that can relate!!!
