3 years, 145 pounds for a total weight loss percentage of 45. My goal is 162 and 50% (I want to be half the woman I was!) Not for 1 moment have I ever regretted doing this!

I'd like to get everyones honest statistics on length of band, and weight loss.

Also if you'd like to give details of your loss, please do.

I'm not banded yet...hopfully will be soon. I was wondering the same thing. Curious to see the out come :)

I have had my band for 5 weeks - total loss so far 25lbs  I was self pay and would do it again so far worth every dime

banded 4 months and lost 23 pounds. Paid 100% of cost (insurance wouldn't cover) and don't regret it. Still trying to get it all figured out.

Five and a half years, 120 lb loss which was about 120 percent of excess meaning I got down to a bmi of 19. Now maintaining easily, not effortlessly but definitely easily.

I've been banded seven months and have lost 83 pounds. Still have 39 pounds to go.

Banded on July 15 2010...so i'm a few days short of 1 year...lost 62 pounds as of this morning. Did not have restriction until July 1 2011...yes thats right 15 days sort of my one year bandaversary! I'm now at a 6.5 fill - had a MAJOR stuck incident yesterday for the 1st time lasted 3 hours on a tiny peice of salmon skin. Yesterday i was questioning my decision. Today i woke up weighed myself and took a good look at my new body in the mirror and i now realize how far i have come and would not want to change my decision to have the band. I guess i had a moment!

Banded 1 year & 2 weeks. Down 130 pounds! 100 more to go!

LOVE MY BAND!

Banded a little over 7 months, 92 lbs lost, don't regret it for a second!!

banded 2 years, 4 months. Down 200lbs. Only 17lbs away from a normal BMI (which is NOT my goal, but thought I'd mention it for those who live & breathe by the BMI ..LOL).

Currently in the "considering plastic surgery, thinking about going for a consult" stage. Some, but not all, of those 17lbs would come off with plastics.

Yes, I'd do it again. No regrets whatsoever. Even waiting as long as I did to get banded I think was the right thing. I had to wait till I was physically, emotionally and mentally ready.

Banded plication 6/27, down 22 lbs biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Tomorrow will be my 4 month bandiversary and I've lost 43 pounds (33 if you don't count the pre op diet). I love my Bandy and I'm so glad I have him!

Banded for 4 months and down 44 lbs. I was self pay and would do it again! Only regret I didn't do it sooner!!

Also 52% to my goal of 150.

8 months post op.

Lost 60 pounds

42% of excessive weight (surgeons goal is 30 % at 1 year!!)

Began to plateau a few weeks ago...need tune up...maybe 0.5 - 1.0 cc's

It has been a pretty cool journey ...so far...

not even 1 regret!!

Best part.......I feel awesome, I mean, I don't just feel good...I feel healthy! For a few years, i had forgotten what that was like!
