Newbie!! 3 Days post op!!

Hello everyone!! So I'm a 28yr ok'd female, living in sunny (haha) Seattle and I'm 3 days post-op. :) I'm so excited that I've been able to get the surgery done and can't wait to be able to workout and use my new "tool". I'm still a little gasy (lol) and got some pressure, but for the most part, I'm walking around and taking fluids with no issues. :) So hello everyone and I look forward to taking this journey with you all!!

Congrats on your new beginnings! I'm 28 and sweating like a pig down here in Texas! LOL :) I'm new here too and I can't wait till I can begin my new journey.

Welcome and congratulations on your new life. I was banded Wednesday, so we are close to the same age. Looking forward to seeing you around.

Thanks DIVA!! I think I'm doing good so far. Some cravings every now and then, but for the most part, I'm doing good!! All I can say is thank God for my blender!! I've been able to blend all of my favorite Soups so that they were "sip-able".. Haha!! But it's helped!! I'm so excited I want to heal already so I can start working out and get back into swimming so I can see the pounds melt away!! Good luck on your journey and see you around the boards!

Thankyou Weesie!! Ive still got some annoying back and shoulder pain and some gas. Also, some pressure on the port area, but for the most part, I'm doing ok. I hope you're recuperating well on your end as well!! Hope to see you around!!

Hello everyone! I'm Melissa, I reside in Michigan and I'm 6 days post op. I'm excited to see there are so many online support groups. That's fantastic!

Hello Seattle!! Welcome and congrats on your band!! I was banded on the 25th and seem to be doing pretty good as well! I wish I would have gotten the band in my 20's rather then 40's-you have such a bright (and skinny) future ahead of you!:)

I am right behind you because my Lap Band surgery is scheduled for June 13 in Kirkland. I am also excited, but a little scared too. For all of us I think this is our "last chance" at getting healthy and losing the weight we need to lose. It is also a very big commitment so it is great to have other people to talk to who are further on the road to healthy eating and maintaining.
