Post Op 4 days!

So here I sit Saturday afternoon 4 days post op. I weighed in at 295 the morning of my surgery and weighed 299 right after. This morning....281lb!!

My experience has been nothing but pleasant. No pain, gas has been under control, but I have been hungry. sugar free popsicles have been my saving grace. I am so excited to go from Clear liquids to something with a bit more substance.

One day at a time. I have been feeling so good in fact that I stood in line yesterday for two hours for my iPAD 2! LOL! Probably not one of the smartest things I have ever done, but I was determined.

So hang in there all of you! I won't say it's the easiest thing to get through, but I thought it would be a lot harder!

I'm glad you're feeling so good. I too had an easy recovery, first day I wanted to die, but second day was much better and 3rd day was off meds. I kind of feel bad for all those that ate still very painful a week later. A week after my surgery I dug my car out from under a foot pf snow (in December). Lol

Hello there, i am four days post op, first two days was bad for me, mainly because i did not take my percocets as prescribed, i did not want to depend on it too much. I started taking 1\2 of the Percocet every 4hours pain or no pain and i was feeling much better then. Today no meds and yesterday only took 1\2 of a pill. i think i am doing good so far. 258LBS day of surgery today 250. Just to mention i was 269 before i started my two weeks liguid diet. Therefore i am down 19 lbs thank god, Wish you and all other Bandsters well and keep posting.

You are off to a great start! The hunger will abade with some fills. It took me 3 to feel any restriction. Best wishes.
