How can the inches drop but not the pounds? I was banded 5 weeks ago and have cut down on my calories, increased my protein to at least 60 grams/day, trying to get in plenty of fluids, but will admit that I probably fall short on getting in all of my water. I haven't started to exercise yet, BUT... I haven't dropped
any weight in the last 2 weeks, and I had only lost 9 lbs up to that point. I have measured and there have been some decreases in inches, but I don't understand if I'm not losing pounds/ounces, then how can I be shrinking inches? The disappointment I feel with such a huge decrease in calories and no weight loss is tremendous!! Any thoughts?
