I wouldn't consider chinese broccoli a mushy, it's usually really crunchy and that's why I like it.

I ate a lot of vegetables with bean curd Soup on my pre-op diet. It's basically steamed veggies and tofu in broth. I bet that would be good, and if you put it in a blender it would get really mushy.

I just discovered chinese in the last couple years lol I'm a late bloomer!

I've not had a problem with chinese after my surgery in May. You could do Wonton or Egg Drop Soup if you're craving now and on mushie/liquid.

love steamed broccoli with the brown sauce. that was the first food that i got stuck on.it was so painful the chest pains. until i learned to put it in a blender an you talking about good soup.love some chinese food.

I just started regular foods this past friday and I have been craving chinese..havnt ate it yet but will soon..my first fill is next week so I want to eat it before the fill just in case after that I can't. Right now I can pretty much eat anything without a problem. thinking about getting chicken and broccoli and just cutting it up really well!

I love chinese food- but I find ALOT of it really sticks-- I have a big problem with the rice especially.

I love hot and sour soup!!

i got hooked on miso soup a while back and it became a favorite while on mushies.
