just banded...and gained!!!!!

Hi everyone! I have been lurking around this site for months... finally official. I was banded on 11/28. When I came home I felt so puffy from all of the iv fluids... I had GAINED 6 pounds! Did anyone else have this happen? I am on only clear liquids now... but I'm worried. Any thoughts?

    Maur, Don't worry about the weight gain right now as it is fluid from surgery. You are in the healing stage right now not the losing stage so just get rest and the losing will start soon. Welcome to LBT.

    I was up 9, and I didn't even fell puffy. It was a bummer, but it all came off quickly during the liquid phase. Welcome to bandland! :)
