Yes, mine gets tighter around my period. I've never had a fill, but I notice a definate difference when either on my period or mega stressed out. For some reason it tightens up during those times.

That is wiered huh? I have only had my band about a week and I already had a cycle and it felt different. I didn't feel hungry at all and I felt like I couldn't even drink more than 3 sips of something and then felt full. It is wierd and wondered if it could be because of the cycle.

LOL .. mine gets looser. Its like its wide open during that time and of course, I take that opportunity to pile in the food :/ I want what you're having hehe :)

when I am stressed out mine most definitly gets tight and on ocassion if I tried to eat while stressed I even throw up. Yucky!, I don't really notice a diffrence on my period.

stress definately tightens me up and yes I just noticed this past week that I am at a great level of restriction since I just got a new fill but I'm afraid it will go away next week when I start my period. I didn't mean to time my fill the week before my period, but it was the only time he could get me in - so right now I'm at perfect restriction but once my period comes and goes I'm afraid so will my restriction as I felt tighter than usual just before my fill.

When i got my period i seem to open up. But if im stress or worrying about something im super tight. Hmm it seems like it varys to each person

Wait i have a question does anyone notice shorter periods?

I'm with Jess, I'm WIDE OPEN right before and during my period. I can eat damn near ANYTHING. So each month I have two weeks to be REALLY good because the next two weeks are anything goes. I struggle to just maintain in that time.

I seem to be one of the lucky (?) one who get extremely tight right around the beginning of my period. My period started Thursday of last week. I had a horrible PB last Thursday--figures at work :). Took it easy on Friday with liquids--Seem to be better by Saturday.
