Congrats. It does finally happen!

how exciting! I'm in the waiting period now as well... ugh I think this is the worst part! they said it could be 1-2 months for the insurance company to respond... anyone have experience with BCBS anthem?

I have anthem BCBS and they approved me in 1 day, The office sent the insurance information on a monday and it was approved on tuesday.... My surgery date is April 12!!!

I have BC/BS Anthem and they were very helpful and supposrtive. She my stuf was finally all ready and sent it, it only took three days for approval. My surgwon's office found out first and emailed me.

I have Empire Blue, but I guess Anthem is mostly involved. It took about a week and a half to hear from them. The insurance called me to say that I was approved before my doctor's office was notified. The woman from the insurance was very nice.

All of you Anthem BCBS peeps are making me SMILE UNCONTROLLABLY! I know my miles may vary but that's who I have and I JUST started the process. I know they cover the surgery but I don't know if they'll cover me and I am so worried they're going to drag this process out weeks, if not months, and just deny me in the end. At least if I'm denied tell me NOW so I can make other plans. I'll keep my fingers crossed I have a similar experience!

I have BCBS of TX and am currently waiting for an approval...this wait is the hardest part!
