1)How much of a fill you all got the first visit?

1)How much of a fill you all got the first visit? 1.5cc

2)What size and brand of band? 4cc Inamed

3)Did your Dr. use floro or not for this first visit? No flouro & no problem finding the port and doing the fill without it. (either time)

4)How much did you get on your second fill? .25 cc for a total of 1.75. I was also given the option of doing the full .5 cc for a total of 2, but I don't want to be over-aggressive on my fills.

5)How long before you NEEDED (not got it, but needed it) your second fill? I needed it right away -- the first fill did nothing for me. I waited 2 weeks though, just to make sure.

That said, the amount each person needs is different. You might need more or less than what everyone else is getting.

1)How much of a fill you all got the first visit? The Dr put 2.5ml in my band during surgery, and I felt restricted for a month or so. I then got I think it was about 2mls and felt restriction for 2 weeks or so.

5)How long before you NEEDED (not got it, but needed it) your second fill? 2 weeks with each of my 9 fills till the 8th one which lasted about 2 months.

1)How much of a fill you all got the first visit? The Dr put 3.4ml in my band almost 4 weeks to the day after my surgery, and I felt a little restricted, but I am still on the mushie stage and not going to do anything else until after I see how I do on solid foods.

i had 2 cc the day of surgery and another 2 one month later (in 10 cc band)

my band is the French one by HÉLIOSCOPIE and holds 10 cc

No as he says its not necessary (to me at least)

i didn't go yet for a 2nd fill (or lets say better 3rd)

before 2 months i did the 1st fill and i don't feel that i need yet fill..

I am now at 1.4 cc and have fair restriction. I haven't had it increased because I travel alot and have times of greater restriction. I am still losing - just not as quickly as I like. Good luck.

1)How much of a fill you all got the first visit? i got over 3cc's. I was a special case though because they had a REALLY hard time finding the port even with floro. I had bruises all over my stomach, so to avoid me having to come back in they gave me a bigger fill and did a barium swallow to see how restricted i was.

I got 1.2 cc's which is a larger fill than my doc normally does because of some minor issues getting to my very deep port.

Nope. He only uses floro in a very extreme circumstance.

4)How much did you get on your second fill?

Second fill scheduled for a little over a week away. I don't think it will take much, I need *just* a skosh.

5)How long before you NEEDED (not got it, but needed it) your second fill?

It's been just over two months. I had super restriction at first but it's since been not so.

2)9.75cm (4cc) Inamed

3)He always uses flouro

4).6cc's, and a few months later I had .3 removed.

5)Probably within 1 month of my first fill, but I didn't get it for 3 months.
