About Adam Glasgow
Our bariatric surgeon Dr. Adam Glasgow began his career as a general surgeon and now has devoted his practice exclusively to laparoscopic gastric banding. Adam is dedicated to making sure all of our patients are well informed, well cared for and happy. He is always accessible for questions, can be reached by phone or email, and attends our patient support groups.
At Surgical Weight Loss Specialists we have extensive experience in gastric band surgery, having performed over 1000 lap-band operations. Our program at Norwood Hospital is an American College of Surgeons (ACS) accredited Level 1 Adult Bariatric Center. We also provide x-ray on-site in our office so there is never a wait to have follow-up studies.
