OMG thats awesome! i looove your pic! you can TOTALLY see the weight loss!! Doesnt it feel great?! I'm at 35 lbs as well...just came back from my 2nd fill. My doc is very careful with these fills, but I did tell her I have NO restriction and I think I now have 4 cc's in. I know that the last 15 lbs I lost I did all on my own...and that actually feel kinda great!!! I was excited though to go back today to get another one. Now I dont go back till March 2nd !! I love hearing how all the clothes are just falling off of you!! Isnt it great??!!! I need to do some closet cleaning as well!! well, I am sooo happy to hear that things are going great! Lets keep each other focused!! My next goal is to hit 10 more lbs in the next 6 weeks (well really 15 and that will bring me to a total of 50 but I dont wanna get toooo excited!!! haha.have a great week! Im off to the mountains this weekend without my kiddies!! sSo excited!! oh btw, do you have facebook??? just wondering...im addicted! talk soon!!

No I have not. I went to the seminar on Jan 13th and I have my first appt. on Feb. 10th. Good news is...my insurance covers barietric surgery. I'm eager to move on and get all the pre procedure testing done.

Well its been awhile since I talked to you, lol. My surgery date got postponed cuz i was sick...lol it was 10/27.....i will know exactly how much i have lost to date on wed the 20th....the last time i weight was before xmas on the 16th and i was at 20 lbs gone....so its averagely coming off, lol....but i think inches are coming off quicker : ) No complaints here! U look fabulous! I have been upping the protein and exercise this new year too, so keep up that conviction!!!

Like most insurance company requirements here, I needed to be a 'failure' at the 6 month diet (the three seminars I went to all said to lose 5-10 lbs. (but don't gain). I lost about 10 pounds during the 6 mo. diet and was approved within 48 hours. I lost another 9 pounds on my own (I didn't have a pre-op diet) in the 3 weeks between approval and my banding. I was bnanded on Oct 27. I have lost 10 lb the 1st week. The following weeks I have gained 8 lb back. I don't feel any restriction and hungry all the time. My 1st fill is on Jan 4th. I am very frustrated and especially when most of the posts indicate that there is 10-30 lb weight lost in the 1st 4-6 weeks.

Heidi...sorry for the delayed response....thanks for the compliment. Best thing I have ever done for myslef. I feel wonderful. Just turned 54 a few days ago and feel as if I could run circles around any 19 yr old!

Wow you got surgery 10 days after me and you already feel no restriction? I know 10 days ago I was still having trouble getting most foods down. Now though I am definitely getting hungry and am able to squeeze in too much.

I will definitely keep you posted and let you know how the first fill thing goes!

Hey there- No worries, i haven't been on and really looked through everything in a while- just quick posts and that's it. Hang in there- it's all worth it. Im doing really well. I have lost 40 pounds since surgery on 10/14 and 60 since May. I have had 4 fills- CRAZY!!!!!!! I have an 11 cc band and now have 6 cc's in it (last fill was last wednesday). I think I have hit the right spot, at least I hope so. I just added some new pics. today (in my pre and post album). I have really been fighting head hunger and the desire to stress eat this last week more than usual. It's been difficult, but im getting by. keep in touch- I promise to do so!!!!!- Leslie

Just got another fill and hopefully I can drop from a 13 to a 10 Gonna keep working hard.

Hey, just wondering how you handled being 19 and having this done...I am 19 as well and I am getting banded on the 9th....people are using my age against me stating I am too young to have this sort of thing done...

I spent some time last night trying on old clothes to see what fits and what's still a way off. My current size 22 stretchy jeans (which I could barely get into 3 months ago) are starting to get too big, my non stretchies fit, and I can get into a lot of my 20s, though they're too tight to wear. Another 10 lbs, and I should be able to wear them comfortably. =)

Hello from Boston. Thanks for everyone's caring and prayers. Everyone I know is safe. My son, limo driver, couldn't bring his customer to a Boston hotel but got him safely to some one's house. Very scary. My friend is a 911 operator at Boston police head quarters and he is safe and working hard. I live about 10 miles from where every thing happened but I was out all day away from the city. We give every country money and help them and then they do this to us during the W...

I have to wait 10 more minutes before I can have anything to drink and I can't wait I am so thirsty

the scale has been stuck for 10 days!!! very frustrating

Today is day 10 of liquid diet! I MADE IT! Surgery tomorrow morning!

Starting pre-op liquid diet tomorrow! Nervous and excited. Bring it on. The other end of this 10 days is my surgery!

Sleeve, my last class is Jan 24th. I had my liver scan last Monday.

next Thursday is my Psych eval. So far I have only lost 6 lbs. At the last class they were says kaiser is cracking down on people that are losing the 10% and people might not be able to see the surgeon.
