SIPS in Seattle got a reaction from Creekimp13 in Broccoli slaw is the devil!
I’m dying over here. Tonight I made broccoli slaw and it was delicious. Totally didn’t think about the after effects of consuming raw broccoli. The whole house stinks...the poor ozone layer is being depleted and I thank the baby Jesus that I’m currently single.
Note to self... lay off the raw broccoli! 🥦 =

SIPS in Seattle got a reaction from WildcatGirl71 in Powerade Zero
I existed on Powerade zero for the first few months after surgery because my surgeon wanted me to drink less plain Water and more liquids with electrolytes. I didn’t know what flavors they were but I drank the red, blue and purple ones. But the caveat is that they had to be ice cold to be tolerable.

SIPS in Seattle got a reaction from b_co in Poll: What is your goal?
My 2nd time around I started at a HW of 242 at my revision consult. Which was actually heavier than my first wls back in 2010. SW was 226 on 8/8/17. My program never asked me to set a specific goal. If I went by the BMI chart, I should be 142. I had exactly 100lbs of excess weight to lose. My personal goal would be to get to 150. Just at the top of normal on the BMI chart for my height. As of this morning, I have 9lbs to go.

My first NSV that really stood out was being able to wear riding boots that weren’t wide calf. Now I can cross my legs easily and even double cross my legs. Also, I tried on jeans on Sunday and was able to put on a size 8 without issue.

Yeah but I bet it etched the glass a little, did you have to rent an industrial fan to clear the air? Oh what a mental picture I'm getting![emoji14]

OH mannnnnn! I was so looking longingly at it a couple of days ago. And I said softly to it, "Soon my precious. Soon we will be together..." LOL.
    Umm, maybe not.
Thanks for the warning hon!!! (and the laugh--mostly the laugh...)

I love brocoslaw...and hate it...for the same reasons. I make mine with turkey bacon, sunflower seeds and raisins:)

Does sound tasty but maybe I'd better check, and make sure the wind isn't blowing from the north. Doesn't sound like something I'd want to be down wind of.[emoji12]

One thing that comes to mind is having a guy pick you up with his hands under your butt and lift you to kiss you... without straining. That one blew my mind.

    Thanks, 2.5 more working days.

It’s not that bright. I have naturally dark hair so it’s bold but not bright. What’s cool is in different lighting the colors are different.

Thanks guys, I did get my balayage done and then pinks, purples and blues added. All went well and it doesn’t seem to have made the loss any worse. Whew!
