  4. It has been a year later for me and I am very Happy. I never would have imagine I would be getting rid of old clothes and buying smaller ones.
  5. I am so glad to know I am not the only one going through this. I am on fill number 4th. I can not see a 5th fill but my six week is apt is coming up. I hate throwing up. And I know it is when I either eat too much or not chew my food up well. Thanks for the stories.
  6. I am in the same exact boat. I must admit it does feel good to see the 229 lbs.I agree small goals If I can only get to 220
  7. I am a March Bandster also please add me Keisha Stark to the facebook group. Thanks
  8. wow thanks this was really helpful advice. Nice to know I am not the only one out here going through it.
  9. I have had 4 fills this fourth one I was debating on a unfill. But I have been loosing so it is getting better. I think I am going to tell the doctor I dont need a number 5.
  10. I think I hit my green zone with this 4th fill. I am know when I am eating too much and I know now how to make better food choices that won't make me sick. Also that is a good sign that you should be sipping not gulping down drinks. Your band is working learn to work with it. My doctor said the same thing 1 to 2 lbs a week you figure that is 7-8 lbs a months multiply that by 3 you will be down at least 21-24 lbs in 3 months. Good luck on your journey. There is no quick fix. And dont be so hard on yourself.
  11. Glad to see everyone is doing well. I myself have been doing just fine. I go for my 4th fill August 25. But I feel like I have good restriction right now. So do I tell the doctor no I dont need the fill or just get it.
  12. It gets better just remember why you did this. Make a chocolate shake or something I am not going to lie I cheated after surjury with a slice of pizza about 1 week and half later but I had to chew it up really good until it was liquid to get it down. Just remember after you start healing you will be able to get food down so be careful and try to stick to the diet as much as possible. We have all been there your not alone.
  13. My Before & After Photos!
  14. I am noticing that alot of sucessful lap bandsters are saying they didn't feel any real restriction until the fourth fill. good luck to you I wish u the best.
  15. This was very helpful thanks
  16. it is not you. I am in the same exact boat. I am not sure how many cc's I have but I dont think I have enough restriction. I am down 35 lbs. I keep flucuating between 250 and 255. I am hoping my next fill on June 30th helps. My starting weight was 285. Just wanted you to know you are not alone.
  17. I was banded March 2011. to date I have only lost 30 lbs. I can finally feel some restriction. I go back to the doctor on june 30th. Hopeing to have a little more restriction with this next fill.I was 285 day of surjury and now down to 255. My weight has been flucating with 255 to 250. Hoping this next fill will help. Any advise for lap bandster at the beginning stages.
