  1. Hi, My first post so bear with me, I think I'm in the same position as you, things were going well at first, but the nurse doing my fill (6th) seemed to have a problem, I wasn't quick enough to see what the concern on her face was for, but my leakage problems started from there. I've had an xray and fill which again lasted a few days, but am back to little or no restriction. The surgeon explained that it might well be that the junction of the hose joining the port may well have been punctured, (It's apparently made of resin and easy to puncture,) he stated they were looking into making this section from a more stable material as it is so close to the injection point. It can be depressing and worrying to have these problems when you have felt the euphoria of the band being successful, I hope you find your way back to success, I'm hoping the replacement of the port section will do the trick for me. just have to sort out the payment now, I'm a bit miffed that the problem seems to obviously be the fault of the medical side, but may have to bite the bullet and pay. I see your post was back in July so would be interested to hear of your progress. Good Luck. J
