    Goal Number One Met

Congrats! Weighing less than my hubby is a goal of mine as well and I have 1 pound to go..... wish a new living room set was my reward! Keep up the great work! Kim
  2. Stall... But clothes are lots looser than a week ago. I knew it was coming - but its only temporary. And I will stay focused!

  3. I am going shopping for some "inbetween" jeans today!

  4. Congrats on the weight loss so far! You inspire me! We all know about the "hair thing" but I love your attitude - short and sassy - it will grow back. I have fine thin hair already - not looking forward to what I know will soon come. But like you, I will just make may eyes "POP" with a little extra make-up, some big earrings and jewelry as a diversion! It will grow back eventually - but who is looking at your hair when they are noticing your amazing transformation? Well done sleeve sister - keep up the great work and keep posting, I love following your journey. Hugs! Kim
  5. Excellent choice of surgeons. Dr Kelly is an amazing surgeon and man! You are in good hands and we are all here to support you before you go and when you return! Hugs!

    Dr. R. Kelly

Excellent choice! He is an amazing surgeon and man. I did a ton of research first and found another woman (my sleeve sister Davida) who had surgery on the same day as I did with Dr Kelly. We both felt that there was sort of divine intervention on how we met and chose Dr. Kelly. You are in great hands with him. My entire experience can only be summed up in one word... AMAZING! Now who can say that about a surgical experience?! Best wishes!
  9. I am going to say it now... I love my sleeve. Down 36 pounds total since I started my journey! Only 3.8 to onderland...

  10. Thanks everyone... I think eggs will wait till later!
  11. Good morning sleevers! I started mushys today and had a fluffy scrambled egg with a little sprinkle of cheese. I added milk to the egg so it would be extra fluffy. I took baby sized bites but still felt pain in my upper stomach area when it went down. Now about an hour later I am having a burning like pain between my shoulder blades. Anyone else experience this. I have never had hearburn so dont know if that is what I am feeling. I have had a fairly easy recovery thus far = but this pain really scares me. Its not sharp - it is more like burning??? Thoughts? I am going to limit myself to one mushy per day this week and the rest liquids - to transition my tummy over the course of time. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance. Kim
  12. Sending lots of prayers your way today! The Lord will hold you in his healing hands and keep you safe. Have a wonderful journey! Prayers, hugs and blessings going your way! Kim
  13. I am starting mushies today. Had a scrambled egg. Had a little upper tummy pain and pain in back between shoulder blades. Is that normal? 204.4 today.

  14. I need to increase my protein and water this week, as I review my log I am falling short. 205.0 today - 5.0 between me and onederland. I am on a mission!!

  15. You inspire me! Way to go - I can see how happy and excited you are in the pictures! And you looks so healthy. You go champ!

    T minus 7 hours

Your weight history and weight today for surgery 217 same as mine. I had surgery on Jan 6th and am down to 207. That's 10 pounds in 2 weeks exactly. We are lightweights and may lose a little slower than some. Compare yourself to no one. This is a marathon not a race - your body will dictate weight loss and changes. Follow your Dr's orders and diet and you will succeed! Sending my best wishes and prayers your way this week. Have a wonderful journey, save surgery, healthy and uneventful recovery! Hugs Kim
  20. Ok I will take it...207.4 that is a pound per day... maybe by the end of this cold month I will be in onederland!?

    Tired of Crying Today

Hi - I just got back from having surgery with Dr Ramos Kelly on Jan 6th - please read my blog I had a wonderful experience. Another woman from Atlanta - Davida who posts on here was with me at the same time. NO Worries! Perhaps this was meant to be. The care and service I received from Dr kelly and Trish is coordinator was OUTSTANDING. You could not ask for more. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am sorry you having such a difficult time with the financing etc. I will be praying for you! Kim
