  1. After a year of classes, evaluations, preparation, denial, lost charts, appeals, dropped balls, etc. I was suddenly approved and go for surgery in 11 days. I am scrambling around trying to get everything done and I feel angry instead of positive and excited. Its 7 months since I was in the classes and I feel like I have no support group. I feel like I'm taking the biggest step of my life blind folded. I found this site because I remeber I am supposed to be doing a low carb diet for two weeks prior to surgery but I see folks talking about a liquid diet, and optifast. I'm lost. My preadmission appointment is 5 days before my surgery.
