  1. Don't stress. Yesterday I did the same when my mum was making a cake - it was sugar and butter creamed together...Then when the cake was done I had a piece with a glass of Water. ...Yes, I feel dirty.
  2. I'm not sure but it's really hard for me. I don't feel full when I eat - I just feel hurty...So if I don't have a glass of Water when I eat to wash it down it hurts a lot to get it down.
  3. I'm on my 5th night. From about the 3rd night I shaped a doona under the right hand side of my stomach and then wrapped it around my back and held it there while I slept - this helped. I also have all of my stab marks on the left hand side so I was lucky. I was having some serious back pain and still am - I hope it's just gas stuck there from surgery. I still have problems sleeping on my side or even sleeping flat.
  4. Hi everyone, Was banded on Monday on the 27th and am feeling pretty sick lol. I've got terrible back problems which I hope is the reason I'm having problems breathing. It hurts to eat anything - having a band doesn't make me feel full (it just hurts to get it down if I haven't chewed it enough). It hurts to take deep breathes, it hurts to yawn or sneeze...I don't have a fill in it yet. I got my band through private health insurance. Out of pocket 5K which is good for Australia. I'm 22 years old and hopefully the pain and issues I'm having will go away. I have been pretty careful with eating - haven't thrown up yet. I can't lay down flat either because my band feels like it's throwing up food. The feeling I get when food gets stuck is horrifying...It feels like I'm having a heart attack lol. I guess as long as I lose weight, that's the most important thing. So yeah, so far I've lost 7 kilos from Optifast and from the band (this was done in 2 weeks)...I am basically on baby food at the moment. Nice to meet you all
