    Question about throwing up...

No question is stupid hun...we all learn from each other...sometimes I think we learn more from each other than from the Doctors.

    So far so good...

YOU CAN DO IT>>>>welcome to the journey. I would do it over, even with the slip I had. Things happen and you pick up and go forward. I've learned more on this site in the last week....and I've been on my adventure for 18 months. Everyone is a little different but the support is amazing. Good Luck!

A little something on my mind...

For me...seems like my stomach is way more sensitive since the band. I personally had to go through the ER because I had moved from another state and was battling trying to find a Doctor to take over my care. Although going through being sick and having surgery to fix my slip was a nightmare...I found a phenominal Doctor in the process.

SLIPPED BAND...It is a BIG DEAL!

Slowly but surely I'm recovering and feeling better....stronger every day. I think my body is wiped out still from being so sick, but I'm making progress and my strength is coming back. I actually walked two miles today with daughter, felt great to get outdoors. No need to worry...Doc said I could walk walk walk  but I'm still on liquids for another 5 weeks. Thank you everyone for your continued support...Your all Amazing!!!
  10. Have you tried completely unfilling and starting over....gradually and slowly like you did when you first got your band??? Just a thought, but maybe going back to clear liquids, then soups, mush...etc...and reintroduce food to your system....really slow like 6 weeks. Hope things get better for you.

    Excercise....are you kidding me!

I want to scream and run out of my house. I never thought in a million years I would ever say I LOVE TO EXCERCISE...its my new drug. I cannot wait to go back to the Dr.'s tomorrow and hopefully get released back to a normal routine. Having surgery for this Slippage is not going to bring me down, it just motivates me to stay stronger!!!

    Excercise....are you kidding me!

Ahhh Fire Girl me too ) but I guess I'll take it for now and WALK WALK WALK. My Doc appt. went well though and I'm on liquids for another 5 weeks...wheww this is gonna be a tough one. He did increase my protein drinks to 5...8oz. a day to hopefully slow down the weight loss. I'm now 5 under goal...whooaaa I never thought that would happen. We can do this!!!

Band Slippage...It is a BIG deal!

Thank you so much for responding to my Blog. Knowing I can help one person...well, that is all that matters. My slippage was caused from vomitting associated with the Flu. The pain in which I had in my abdomen was so unbearable that I had my daughter rush me to the Emergency Room. After getting the vomitting and pain under control the ER Doctor had me do a Barium Swallow and the Slippage was detected....my Lapband was unfilled by the Bariatric Specialist on-call and I was told to wait to see if it would slip back into place. Two days later the pain was still so unbearable and I ended up having Emergency Surgery for the Repair. I'm now on my way and recovering well!
  19. Thank you so much for responding to my Blog. We are all on this journey together....and here to help and support one another. Great job on your success...keep going!!!
