  1. Awww, thanks. Very much appreciated Thanks Karen! Your kind words don't go unnoticed Thank you very much! I didn't think I could do it in the beginning, but tings picked up once I hit my sweet spot Very slow again now though.
  2. Thanks so much! I appreciate it! My username makes me laugh Thank you! During the last year I rarely ever looked at old pictures. Now that I have put them side-by-side I am in shock.
  3. Thank you. I appreciate it. I also suffer from Major Depression, so losing weight helps some. Yeah, I noticed the tattoo...haha.
  4. I had surgery on November 3, 2010 and have lost 100 pounds in a little over 11 months. I have included my Before / After 100 pounds photos below in order to share my milestone with you all:
  5. Nope. No changes in diet or medicine since the beginning. I think I will go see the doctor about it. It's weird. Thanks and have a great day. I think I will go see my doctor soon because things seem weird in there. Thanks Not a female so luckily I can rule that out
  6. I have heard of people feeling bloated and full of gas right after surgery, BUT that didn't happen to me. HOWEVER, I am now almost 1-year removed from lapband surgery and feeling like I am going to EXPLODE!!! It started about 4-6 weeks ago and I am miserable!! Every time I take a bite of anything I end up with lots of gas, stomach pain, and a very bloated stomach from all of the built-up air. Can someone please help and let me know what to do?!?!?!
  7. Way to go!!!! Congrats!!!! BTW just saw you had your surgery in Louisville, KY...me too
  8. Hahaha. I know, right? I just had fun with it Thanks. I belive you can also! Good luck! Thank you so much for the encouragement! Woo hoo! You can do it!!!
  9. Thanks! And WAY TO GO!!! I have faith in both of us! WE CAN DO IT!
  10. THANK YOU! And good luck to you as you inch closer to getting the band! I didn't have to do the 6-month supervised weighloss...Thank God!
  11. WAY TO GO JENN!!! I know you can get 14 more off before December 29th! Yes, I feel TONS better! I could barely walk to the mailbox before surgery and now I can walk 10 miles and even run 1 mile straight!
  12. THANKS Lisa!!! Looks like you are doing great also!!!
  13. Welcome Olivia! I have been a member for a year now, but been on the site only about 3 times. I was banded in November 2010 and can eat very few things. Meatloaf, salad, pasta, etc. It has done be good so far. Yes, I would get food stuck all of the time, but that is because I wasn't "listening the the band" (as my surgeon likes to say) to let me know when to stop. I would suggest eating slower..take a bite...put your fork down...wait a few minutes to see how you feel...then take another 1-2 if you feel ok. It has taken me 10 months to learn this and I have NOT been stuck in about a month now.
  14. Hi, I don't frequent this site as often as I should, but just wanted to say that in the 10.5 months since LapBand surgery I have been able to lose 96 pounds. I am hoping to reach 100 pounds lost in the next 2-3 weeks...and before my 1 year LapBand surgery anniversary on November 3, 2011. Wish me luck!!
  15. Thanks GingerJane! I just thought I would make up a name and embrace the fact that I am fat...but I won't be one day
  16. Thanks for the welcome and well wishes...and I like that "Journey" Why thank you
  17. Hi everyone. I am new here. I have finished my 3 months of weigh-ins and attended the seminar. I meet my surgeon on October 7th. Ready to get this show on the road :smile2: I am still new at this, so any advice is welcome.
