Thankfully I lost 25 pounds of the Water weight within 48 hours after taking a diuretic.

Just 1.5 hours this week. Been dealing with acute renal failure and hence I'm very weak, but hope to get back to it this week.

Went for a short hike today. First time I've exercised in 2 weeks. I get my stent out tomorrow. Not looking forward to the retrieval seek and find process... LOL... but looking forward to having it out of me.

Starting weight is 278 It has been a very rough couple of weeks both physically and mentally thanks to acute renal failure last week when I gained 30 pounds of water weight in 7 days and then lost 25 pounds of water weight in 48 hours!!!!!

Can't wait to get this stent out. I have absolutely no energy and I'm very weak.

I'm so tired, but I haven't slept all night. My mind is racing, legs jumping, and heart pounding. Just read that they are some of the side effects from my diuretic, so I'll gladly deal with them since they are better than the previous alternative.

I was able to get outside on this beautiful day and go for a short walk. Haven't been able to walk for a week and a half. I couldn't walk far because the stent causes pain, but thankfully they are going to take it out on Tuesday.

I was actually incorrect about the Biggest Loser prize money (hey, I was drugged up...lol...so it wasn't 1,000 dollars), but my wife won 1st place for % weight loss and tied for 1st place for inches lost. Yay!!! So proud of @@Fat2Phat2016

I've lost another 2 pounds this morning. Now I'm just 6.4 pounds away from where I was last week.

I think you are 100% correct. I now believe my kidneys stopped working at some point between the large kidney stone being on the move, kidney stone surgery, and stent placement and they didn't start working again until the diuretic.

I've lost 2 more pounds of Water weight. It's definitely slowed down, but happy to see it still coming off. Unfortunately, I feel like death today. Everything hurts (i.e. Head, legs, stomach, kidney, ankles, etc). I'm also really nauseous and lightheaded. I'm guessing my body is just tired from all it's been through over the last week. Think I'm just going to rest today and catch up on sleep. Thanks as always to all of you for looking after me.

I was also prescribed potassium to go along with the diuretic.

I'm now up to 20 pounds of Water weight lost in 24 hours. Yay!!! This diuretic has been a miracle!!! Now just 10 more to go.

I urinated 7 times overnight and when I weighed this morning I had already lost 10 pounds of Water weight. I have since urinated about 5 more times today and have lost another 5 pounds of water weight. So, thankfully, the diuretic is working as I have lost 15 pounds of water weight in only 18 hours. Yay!!!!

The cardiologist prescribed me a diuretic so I'm going to give it a couple days to see if it helps.

Hi. Yes I went to urologist yesterday. They ran some tests and couldn't find reason for weight gain so they got me into see cardiologist today. They also taught me how to self catheter since I had been having difficulty peeing.

Hi everyone. I'm sorry I can't reply to you all individually. I'm so very tired and overwhelmed. But I want to say I appreciate all of you that have shown compassion and concern for me. I'm forever grateful. This has been one of the worst weeks of my life. 10 days ago (last Monday) I went in to my gastric sleeve surgeon for my 4-month check up. Everything was great!!! I had lost 90 pounds in 4 months. I went from walking 50 feet to walking up to 15 miles a day. My cholesterol and other blood tests were in great shape, etc. Then just 1 week ago I was rushed to ER via ambulance and then rushed into kidney stone surgery and a stent put in. They even made me stay the night in the hospital. And now 1 week later, I feel like I never had surgery 4 months ago. Official tally is that I'm UP 30 pounds in 7 days!!!!! I can't walk 5 feet without joint/ankle pain from the swelling/edema, etc. I can't walk without being winded and short of breath. My clothes are even tighter. I just can't believe no one can find anything wrong with me. I'm just tired…and disappointed … and feeling defeated. Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up 30 pounds lighter. I can hope and pray I guess. Thanks for listening. It has meant the world to have you all on my side. I'm going to sleep now.

Just left. Had EKG first and just finished an echocardiogram. They also did blood work. I'm now up 30 pounds in 7 days. Legs/ankles so swollen I feel like they're going to bust. But they found nothing wrong. [emoji17]
