    I have a 15 year old son and we are considering surgery for him. dont want to wait because he is gaining weight very fast. found a doctor who will do the surgery. unfortunately my insurance will only cover the surgery when he is 18 years old. we will try to pay cash. quoted for 15000. but will try to find a way. dont go to a pediatrician. go to a surgeon who does the surgery. they will give you the thumbs up. good luck. any thoughts for me? thanks
