  1. I was banded on 11/14 and I asked my dr about the week before diet to shrink the liver. He said to just eat wisely and that nothing will shrink the liver in one week anyway. He also explained that people who are overweight have fatty, enlarged liver so they are prepared for that. But if that's what your dr wants you to do then you should do it. It'll be tough but I know a few who have done it. As far as the "I want to eat eveything I can before the surgery" I had the same problem and boy did I eat. Probably not the smartest thing but I did it anyway. The best you can do is what you're doing. Mentally preparing yourself. Drinking water for me is tough, but I keep trying. It's really a learning process. The anticipation of the whole process is worse then when you actually go through it. You'll be fine! Good luck.
  2. So I got it to work but it's not the ticker I wanted and when I go in to edit/change it just keeps giving me the wrong one. It lets me pick what I want but it keeps saving the one I don't. I'll try one more time then I QUIT!
  3. I've tried pasting the code from v bulletin but I'm probably doing something wrong. Do I just cut and paste the code into my "edit signature" box. When I preview it shouldn't it show the ticker? Sorry to be a pest.
  4. I can't figure out how to add my ticker....This is so annoying.
  5. Thanks Kat and Susan, I really appreciate it. It's weird because I don't eat as slow as I should and I'm sure I eat more because of it, but it doesn't bother me. It doesn't back up or make me sick. That's why I was getting nervous because before the surgery I was always being told that if I don't do what I'm supposed to do I'll get sick. But it still feels like I could eat whatever I want. I'm sure it's mostly in my head....
  6. I'm embarrased to say I don't know what bandster eating is either. Nor do I know what PB stands for. Maybe someone can help. Thanks
  7. Hi There, I'm new to this site and have never done anything like this before. I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and have lost 23lbs. But I am still really hungry. My first fill will be on 12/29. My doctor and nutritionist kept telling me that I wouldn't be hungry and that I'd have to force myself to eat. That's definitely not true. Does this happen to most people?
