    Yesterday:2nd day of liquids Breakfast-Pumpkin Protein Shake Lunch-1 cup of enchilada soup with 2 tbsp sour cream & small jar of baby bananas and 2 tbsp of creamy peanut butter Snack-1 cup of lipton cream of chicken Dinner-1 cup of black bean soup and 1 1/2 cups of cream of mushroom soup with 2 tbsp sour cream Snack-EAS Shake blended with 1 banana and 1 tbsp of creamy peanut butter Total Calories: 1,921 (I have an addiction to peanut butter and it adds up quick) 103 g protein I still managed to drop 3 lbs this week so far :thumbup:

    Ok so I made it through my first day on liquids to shrink my pouch. Here goes: Breakfast-1 scoop of Whey Protein, 1 cup of skim milk and 1/2 banana blended into a protein shake 281 Calories and 32g Protein Lunch-Enchilada Soup and 2 tbsp of sour cream on top, small baby jar of bananas mixed with creamy peanut butter and 1/2 banana pureed. 606 calories and 21g Protein Snack-Envelope of Lipton Cream of Chicken soup 60 Calories Dinner-Black Bean Soup Pureed 240 Calories and 16g Protein Total 1,236 calories and 69g Protein

    Actually I have researched the pouch test. Have you tried it? I also have a question, where it says what you eat on each day is that the only thing you can eat or can you keep doing liquids with each day as well?

    My doctor did a barium swallow and saw it was dialated. It can happen if you overeat. I've had my band for 4 years and didn't get it checked for 2 years so I never knew other than being able to eat anything. So I'm back to basics, liquid diet for atleast a week and maybe the 2nd week mushies.

    Ok so I know my pouch is dialated and today I'm going to commit to a 2 week liquid diet and I really need your guys support. It's very hard for me because I love food so much. I need to get this stomach shrunk and back on the bandwagon. Thanks for everyone's support.

    Joe I'm right there with you. I was banded in November 2006 and initially lost 80 lbs and have gained 70 of my 80 lbs back. It is not only an embarrasment that I let myself get back to close to my original weight but I'm very ashamed of myself. I'm really trying to stay on track with food journaling and working out. I will make an effort to start posting to this thread everyday whether I do good or bad. I wish you the best of luck and I look forward to getting back on track with you. Take Care.

    I am getting back on track. Yesterday: Breakfast-2 egg tacos with corn tortillas and black pepper-170 Calories Lunch-Can of Progresso Vegetable Soup and croutons and 1/2 cup of Mac and Cheese-395 calories Dinner-Small Salad with Light Ranch dressing, grated cheese, and croutons and 2 cups of Bean soup-645 Calories Snack-Reg Oatmeal packet w/2 tablespoons of Natural Jif Peanut Butter-290 Calories Walked for 10 minutes on a 5 incline on treadmill (it's not long but it's a start) and light weight training on arms and legs for 20 Minutes Total Calories 1,610 Calories and 135 Carbs

    Hey Violinist. I too am getting married in a year and a 1/2 and want to be back down to my lowest weight which was 220. I'm back up to 289 (300 lbs being my starting weight) and have really been pushing myself to get this weight back off. I have 0 restriction so it's all on me. I could really use a mentor through all of this. Hope you don't mind if I message you from time to time and see how you're doing. Take care.

    Is My Nutriionst keeping me fat part 2 (Help)

    I'm sorry BWesley but 1000 calories is not enough for everyone. If it works for you that's fine but to say to someone that they're eating too much is not logical. I would be starving if I had only 1000 calories. 100 carbs is a lot less than you think. I've tried sticking to the 20 carbs a day but found that I was so sluggish. I say listen to your nutritionist and keep working out. The weight WILL come off. You're probably just losing inches and that's why you're not seeing the numbers go down on the scale.

    Well I'm glad to see I'm not alone. I was banded in November 2006 and initially lost 80 lbs and took me 2 years to do so. Then I met my now fiance and got comfortable and went out to eat a lot and here I am 14 lbs less than I was at surgery and have nobody to blame but myself. I'm glad I found this thread and look forward to talking with others.
