  1. I was banded on 7/29. I definitely had the first week emotional roller coaster. I laid awake at night thinking I want this thing out and go back to normal. I know anesthesia has some to do with it. I am now 3 weeks out and doing well. I prayed and had a supportive family and friends. Keep an eye on yourself as several posts have said. If it lasts for more than 3 weeks , talk with your doctor!
