A couple of weeks ago I went to my first bariatric seminar , and today, yes today is my beginning. Just a few hours ago I was informed I get to start my journey. My insurance company is going to pay all but $500 bucks, and Im sure that will be the best money I have ever spent. I do have to go through a 6 months pre op diet before hand, but with support from family, I can do this. I have done alot of research on here since the seminar and know this is what is best for me. I have been obese since an infant, and now struggle with my weight. I look foward to reading more stories by you wonderful people! And Hello, from Kentucky!

I myself am supposed to hear this week if I am going to be approved for the surg. or not. But I have only told a few people I was considering. I have only told 2 siblings, my mother (who is having it done also), step father, and my boss at work just so she knows why I am going to need off so much. I dont want to tell anyone else, cause I dont want to be or tried anyway, to be talked out of this wonderful thing. Do what you want, but I know what Im doing lol
