  1. I was banded July 28th this year. The first 3 weeks were awful. I wanted mine out too and if anyone had told me how bad it was going to be I might not have done it! The 3rd week was the hardest and I was getting VERY depressed. I tried to do too much and expected too much too soon! Things are much better now, it just took time to really heal. It is outpaitent, but it is still surgery. I am down 18 pounds and feel great now. Talk to your doctor, but then give it time. Walking helped so many symptoms, even a short walk. Don't give up.:laugh:
