  1. They have to move a lot around to get in there. If you watched the video of the operation, you'd know why. It will get better!!! A heating pad feels great too! Audree
  2. rms78645 OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have it 7 days post op. I can only have a cup of coffee in the morning. Lunch and dinner, I get full of 1 cup of liquid and can not physcally eat anymore. I feel full up to my throat. How do you feel?
  3. The band feels even tighter when you don't drink water. For me, I mistook thirst pangs for hunger pangs. It helped me feel full.
  4. I went to Albertson's and found a soup mix in a bad type of thing. It was all the seasoning, chicken broth powder, powdered veggies, etc. You are really supposed to add the chicken and tortilla strips, but I just added it to the water and boiled. I added a little shredded cheese. IT WAS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hungry: :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: :hungry: It had little pieces of veggies, so I pureed it in my little food processor. I can't tell you how good it was. I am going to be on the lookout for some others, but if all I had was that, I'd be in Heaven for the next 2 weeks, it was that good!!!! Audree
  5. Me too!!! I can't get anything more than a coffee with soymilk for Protein in the morning due to being EXTREMELY tight! If I am not home and busy, I don't even think about eating. That has never happened to me. I used to always be thinking what I was going to eat. Like tonight, we went to a birthday party, I would have been thining where we were going to go out to eat, etc. But, I didn't. I only thought about getting home to my little yogurt I eat in the evening.
  6. Thanks for all your encouragement! I am glad you are here too!!! Yeah, I am pretty surprised my incisions are all healed completely. The liquid bandage (surgical crazy glue) is actually gone on two of them and they are totally healed up, only a little red. If you need my email to request me as a friend it is Audree_Vasallo@hotmail.com (there is an underscore between my first and last name, but you just can't see it) Talk to you soon!!!!Audree:biggrin1:
  7. Welcome all the new January bandsters!!!! Wow, we keep rolling in!!!! The gas will get better. The first 3 days were my hardest. Don't forget to drink your water or you will feel real out of it and it made me have hunger pangs! Audree
  8. I am feeling really good. I am very restricted. Would you compare your restriction to when you were first operated?
  9. Shiela!!!!!!!! I have been thinking about you! I am so glad you are doing so good! I am on post op day 7 and feeling great! Keep us posted on how you are doing!!!:clap2: Audree

  11. He is really, really good. My scars will be very unnoticable. He sutures from the inside and uses surgical crazy glue on the outside to hold the wound closed. It has a better result of a scar. It was a perfect experience. The only thing that happened was I threw up after surgery, but I always get like that after surgery of any kind. Audree
  12. Hey, if you have restriction without needing a fill, more power to you!!!! Audree

  21. I felt the worse the 1st three days too, but it got sooooooooooooo much better. I have no pain now in any way. I am so happy I did it! You will feel so too, just give it about a week. Also, the anesthesia can make you feel really out of it mentally and physcially. Audree
  22. I bought it from my chinese herbalist, but you can check the site http://www.goldvitamins.com/quickslim30.htm I used them pre band and it worked better for me than any prescription appetite control pill! Audree
  23. I am newly banded, 1 week post op and I was just wondering if what I am feeling in restriction is comparable to the "sweet spot"? Thanks!!!!:clap2: Audree
  24. Yeah, the Chinese Herbalist thing is worth trying. They do things a lot different then they do here. They look at your eyes, tongue, hands, blood pressure, so many different things. I had a hormonal imbalance that he addressed. Keep us posted to let us know how you are doing!!!! Audree
  25. Thanks!! I actually like where I am at and am guessing that this is what the "sweet spot" would feel like. Audree
