  1. Update - Thank you all for your advise it has been very helpful, I went back to the HR dept and they let me know that he is not allowed to inquire about my medical issues... I am allowed one to two hours twice a month for medical appointments with it not effecting my personal days allowance... and Monday I'm to have a meeting with him and the HR rep. Thank you guys again for the info, now I can go into this meeting knowing what some of my right are. I'll let you know how it goes. Surgery date: 11/6/06 Dr. Fielding, NYU, NY 248/208/135 40 down 73 to go
  2. I've been banded since Nov. 2006 and I haven't had any problems other then with my boss... He's asked me straight out several times why I go to the doctors once a month, I told him it's none of his business. But lately it's becoming more of an issue, he actually wrote me up for having a doctors visit once a month - is this illigal? Is it like diabetes that's protected by law if he tries to stop me from going to the doctors on a monthly basis?
  3. I have a question: I was banded on 11/6/06 and had my first fill 12/19/06 1cc, I have a 10cc band and wasn't feeling a thing. I went in on 1/3/07 and had .50cc added and now I'm wondering what too full feels like? What does your sweet spot feel like? I feel quite a bit of pressure in my chest when I eat but I'm able to eat pretty much anything just very slowly and well chewed. I'm just a little concerned since I have nothing to compare it too. I have another appointment on 1/30/07 and was planning on waiting until then to see how things go, I just can't imagine that 1.50cc would be so full.
  4. I there, I'm 16 days post-op, I was originally very worried about the scarring but when I finally saw them, my cats scratches are bigger then most of them. What I do recommend is to put Vitamin E oil on them at least twice or more a day, and they are smooth and fading fast... just make sure that you wear a tank top under your clothes you don't mind damaging cause the oil will rub onto your clothing... Good luck! Day of OP: 245 11/6/06 Current: 227
