  1. I have 4 bulging discs in my back and I have been taking Lortab 10 for about 3yrs, I am going to have the lapband surgery and was wondering if anyone else had this problem and will I have problems taking them. They are time release and cannot be crushed. I am hoping that when I loose some weight I can get off some of the meds. Please advise!
  2. Nervous but excited

Well I go August 3rd for my very first consultation. I am nervous but excited to finally get started on my new life. I have been heavy all my life, I have lost-gain-lost-gain. I cant wait to get started.
  3. I go tomorrow 8-3-10 for my first consult. My sister has decided to have the Lap Band too. She is smaller than me she is about 265lbs and I am about 290lbs. I cant wait to get this journey started. Its going to be awesome to see how our bodies change and what we will look like. I have always been big, but my sister has gotten big in the last 2 yrs. she had a breast reduction and quit smoking and really gained alot of weight. My question is: I have heard with Gastric Bypass you gain back the weight fairly easy, is the same true with the Lap Band? How easy is it to gain it back? I have lost and gained back several times and I am hoping this will be the end of all that.
