  1. Wow thank you original poster! These are all the same questions I have! I think I maybe pregnant - I'm waiting to see if I'm pregnant... And am about 6mnth post op as well. Please anyone else share your knowledge??? thanks to those who did!

  3. This is great information! I am starting stage 3 today mushy foods!!! So I am so excited!! I dont have any restriction as of yet... so I want to me cautious since I know when I get restriction my food tolerance can change. Anyways great info/tips!!
  4. Wow such great responses!!! Thanks! I am waiting for my 1st fill!!! so nervous and anxious... I am getting hungrier everyday and able to tolerate more and more foods! I think I am going to start monday and just do the treadmill and see how it goes... I will check back in with you all about this then!
  5. Hi everyone! so I had my 1st post op appt on weds and was cleared to do excercise... I am moving to the mushy stage on saturday. So for those of you who are fairly recently post op and have been cleared for excercise - what are you doing? what do you plan on doing???? I want to start it out right!!! any tips/ideas would be helpful! Thanks!:Banane43:
  6. MrsHumphrey's I didnt read the whole thread and have just been lurking around on the boards... but I wanted to say that I to have been feeling kinda how you just described. I am almost 2 weeks post op... I was a bit gaseous earlier but its getting better. I have been kinda tasting here and there... but being very very very cautious.. I mean its a nibble here and there... I had my post op appt yesterday and my doc was very happy with where i am at... Dont worry!!! Everyone is different and we all handle things different. I wish you the best on your journey!!

  8. Congrat!!! Its such a cool feeling! I had my moment yesterday! I was able to walk a longer distance with a slight incline... and not be out of breath!! It was great!
  9. tomorrow I will be 2 weeks post op and i have no restriction. I am getting "kinda" hungry... But I think its because that was my old habit.. when i wasnt busy I was eating- ya know. Hang in there!

  11. I had surgery 1.12.11 and will be hoping to return on Tuesday. I too have a desk job - but am not always sedentary... so lets see. Its a busy time of the year for me - so i dont really have the luxury of being out much longer.. Hoping I will be ok! Lets see
  12. i bought a liquid Vitamin at the vitamin shop_ not any better... Currently I am doing kids chewable vitamins.. my doc said it was fine... then in a few months I will switch to Centrum chewables.. try that?
  13. Thanks everyone!! Your 100% correct on the walking for the gas! I have been going out when I can and walking around my apartment. Looking for reasons to move and not sit! It does help. The gas-x is working a bit to.. I will try the heating pad and maybe the bean-o. Thanks all! I am taking pics every 2-3 days and keeping my journal. My husband bought be me this beautiful leather journal - so I have been writing in that. Your all so right this is as an amazing feeling!!! The pain, the emotion everything!!! I am so blessed to have a great support family here and in my everyday life. It makes such a difference! I look forward to being on more frequently here as I said before and will share pics soon.
  14. Hi Bandsters! Just wanted to say I am banded! 1.12.2011 was my big day!!! I am doing pretty well all considering and resting. I hope to post some pictures and become more active on the boards!! I think my biggest challenge is the gas right now!!! any remedies or suggestions?? Is this going to pass sooner rather than later!?? All info appreciated! Thanks!
  15. So I am a total lurker on the boards and am so excited and nervous!!! I have been in a holding pattern and my doctor called me on Thursday... asked if the 1st and 2nd week in January I was available for surgery!!!:bananapartyhat: Soooo lets hope they call me Monday!!!! I have so much to do at work and need to plan!!! But all in all I am so excited and nervous and anxious and all this stuff!!!!!!!!!
