Hi Everyone I have an horrific fear of doing situps once I'm banded next tuesday. I just keep thinking it will make my band slipp. How long did you wait to do situps after getting the band? Any advice is appreciated

Go luck to you I will say a prayer for you. I have my surgery next tuesday. I starte my preop liquid diet tommorrow. A little nervous but just trying to make sure I stay prepared. I can't wait to here updates as your journey begin.

@ninababy I searched all caps and nothing came up -
I went in for my visit before surgery today. I found out that my surgery was approved. I was so worried about the pre weight loss and I loss exactly what was needed. I haven't told my mom yet and will tell her today. I wanted to wait until i knew it was approved for sure. My surgery date is Ocotber 19th.

I see so many people post they had a hernia repair when they had the surgery. I thought they were suppossed to see them when doing the ent test. I was wondering have anyone had the endoscopy test to come normal but end up having a repair when the lap band surgery was done?

Congratulations, Me and you are in the same boat. My paperwork was submitted Monday. I have a surgery date for October 19th however i just need the final approval. I'm sure it will work out for both of us.

My nurse called today to tell me my tentative date is Ocotber 19th. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I'm so geeked to be able to start a better quality life for me and my family. The only thing we are waiting on is the final approval from my insurance company. Wow what a way to start my week off.

I'm waiting to hear back wheter or not I'm approved and I start having stomach pains, belching a gurgling. have anyone ever experienced that. I go to a gi doctor wednesday so disappointed.

Today I completed the final steps in my process for getting the lapband. I got medical clearance and met with the excersise consultant. Now I'm just waiting for my approval and surgery date. I have to lose 5 pounds before I can have my surgery. I'm getting nervous and excited at the same time.
