I tought id keep a blog for myself so i can look back and see how, and what ive done in the next year. I started losing weight with my own will power feb 09. i started at 287lbs and got down 219. I had tried weight watchers which i think i lost 15lbs in 4 month, i also tried HGC shots i lost about 20lbs. i have gained some of the weight i have lost now and im really upset with myself. How come i cant lose the weight and control what im doing and keep it off? why do i have to eat almost nothing in order to lose weight? Why cant i be like my friend who is 120 and eats a mcdoubles with a 4 peice of chicken nuggets on it? I know WHY,WHY,WHY. Oct 11th is going to be the start of something new! im nervous and excited at the same time!!! LETS GET THIS, Kerri

so ive been buying things little by little so i have it ready for my surgery. I found a must have i thought id tell you about. dont buy the chicken broth from the store it only has 2g of protein, go online and order unjury chicken soup broth it has 21g of protein and 1g carb in 8oz and its pretty tasty. If anyone else knows of any low carb protein mix that tastes good let me know. im always looking for some good post-op protein liquids.

WOW! you did pretty good on HCG. i did it for 6 weeks and only lost 18lbs and i never cheated.

Im glad im not the only one that feels this way! im sure will all do good and hopfully we have no problems with our surgerys. Next year this time will be shaking our skinny asses:ciappa: :cursing:

Do any of you think like me? Im so excited about getting VSG but at the same time i think to myself "what if i dont lose anything"? Could i be the the one that wont lose and will stay fat forever? At the same time I can visalize myself being skinny, its crazy. I would like to think all positive thoughts, but that "WHAT IF is stuck in my head. I wish I could fast foward to 6 months from now so i could check out my progress. I guess I just have fear of the unknown???:thumbup1:

im built the same way, im smaller in the top and wider in the Hips and Butt. my pant normally are bigger in the waist area and tighter in my Ass. i currenty am wearing a size 22 pants and a 18 top and i wear my top a bit baggy cuz i dont want my rolls hanging out.

Im having surgery with the same Dr and the same day as you. Im going down there by myself so im a little freaked out too.

im going by myself in Oct, wish i had someone to go with but my husband has to stay with the kids.

Less than a month till my surgery ive been buy water, protein, uninjured chicken protein soup, and vitamins so I will have everything ready for my pre-op and my new tummy. Im excited and nervous at the same time cant wait!

Ive had enough of fighting with my weight. Ive decided to have the sleeve done in Mexico. I dont have good credit due to some problems that ive had, so a loan is out of the question and i dont have anyone who will let me borrow it. so Im currently saving up my money and hope I can have the funds saved up by Oct. anyone else have/had money issues trying to get WLS done? what did you do to get the money?

had to change my surgery date due to work issues so now im going to have it done on October 11th.

The only people i have told about me going to mexico to have surgery is my mother and husband. i had told a friend a few months back i was thinking about it and she gave me shit so i dont talk about it and i dont want to tell people im going to have VGS. I dont want people trying to talk me out of it or trying to scare me about going down. Yesterday my mom tells me that my Dad doesnt want me to go cuz someones gonna take me and bash my head in and the Dr is gonna butcher me. REALLY??? This is why i didnt want anyone to know! :thumbup:

I started at 289 i had myself down to 220 in May and since i decided to do the sleeve ive done nothing but eat, I feel like i just cant get enough either its crazy. in result i have gained weight and im up to 237 and feel gross.:001_smile: not sure why im doing this to myself im totally out of control. im hoping i can get myself back in order once i have my surgery. Cant wait to get under 200 havent been there since before i was married.

Oct 7th!!! excited to get these extra lbs off my ass!!! LOL

Thanks for all the advice! im gonna try the care one i guess theres no harm trying. im putting money away hoping that nothing gos wrong in the next few months were i have to put any extra money out. My goal is to have surgery this Fall cuz i want to be skinnier for the cruise im going on in May. if all else fells Ill use my income tax money. Much Love!!!
