trying to break my stall 5.5 weeks post-op

Ive only lost 1lb in the past 3.5 weeks so I doubled up my protein shake starting yesterday to see if that will help me. Also I found away i can get the protein shakes in better, instead of 1 scoop of protein and 8oz milk Im doing 2 scoops of protein, a package of suger free hot cocoa and 16oz of water. To me its not as sweet or thick and i can handle it alot better. Thanks for all the encouragment I really needed it!!! I'll let you know on Monday when i weigh in if I was able to break the sta

5 week post-op

im 5 weeks post-op today and have only lost 17lbs. I was down 15 lbs at 2 weeks post-op, at 2.5 weeks i had to get IV fluids which made me gain 5 lbs. i keep looking at everyones weightloss that had surgery after me and most have lost way more than me. Im tracking my protein, carbs and calories trying to keep it around 500-600 cals, 60 protein and under 30 carbs. i know I'm a slow loser but to see my scale only move .4 in a week and I hardly eat anything just makes me want to cry. 2 weeks post-op

Im now to weeks post-op, feeling good other than im really weak. I tryed going back to work yesterday, I made it a whole two hours before i thought i was going to pass out. I dont think im getting enough fluids in, so im really going to work on it so i can go back to work on Friday. OK heres my TMI- i havent gone poo since i had to do my clean out before surgery, i tryed suppositories and i just poo out the suppositore. Any one else haveing this issue? My total weight lose for the week was 7.6

10 days post-op

im 10 days post op and feeling better every day. I went out and bought some stuff to clean my wounds on Saturday, so i sprayed it on and put on a big bandaid over my larger cut. I ended up being alergic to either the spray or bandaid and ended up with a big red, itchy spot with blisters (sucks). I couldnt handle the itchyness of it and wasnt sure if it was a bad reaction or i had an infection so i went to the Drs yesterday. Dr did say it was a alergic reation (thank god). surgery to 4 day post op

i arrived into San Diego at 8 pm headed to the the hotel and was out . Woke up the next morning and headed for TJ, they picked us up at at the airport and drove us across the boarded. 1st stop was to have are blood drawn and then off to the clinic (which might freak one out cuz its in a strip mall but it was very will ran and clean) We did are paper work, tests and were brought to our rooms to wait our turn for sugery. pre-op

i just found out that i only have to do pre-op for 3 days:001_tongue: and then 2 weeks of liquids post-op. sounds good to me! ive read on here where some people have to do it way longer than that so im glad. I have myself stocked up on protein both shakes and unjury chicken broth. have the gummie vitamins, crystel lite ect. I guess im as ready as i can be!!!

18 days till surgery

I tought id keep a blog for myself so i can look back and see how, and what ive done in the next year. I started losing weight with my own will power feb 09. i started at 287lbs and got down 219. I had tried weight watchers which i think i lost 15lbs in 4 month, i also tried HGC shots i lost about 20lbs. i have gained some of the weight i have lost now and im really upset with myself. How come i cant lose the weight and control what im doing and keep it off? why do i have to eat almost nothing
