  4. I am also a diabetic and I am in the process of getting the band, I am wanting so bad to get read of the diabetes I hate taking the medication and feeling tired and ect all the time. I have two small children and I am doing this operation for them and my self so I can be around longer to see them grow up and be able to do things with them. I gained weight my self after I got married and thats when I noticed the diabetes. So hopefully I can have a great out come like you..Congrats on the operation and diabetes.

  5. Ya, I am really looking foward to the new start but a little scared also it is just hard to think about no more soda or bread for I really enjoy both. My husband is giving me support on this journey. I am hoping that the 12th will be the day I find out about the operation I am hoping to get it before my son starts school. So how bad is the operation and recovery? I had hernia surgery last year (belly button hernia) and girl I couldn't move for almost 2 wks. I will give those other broths and soups a try and keep me posted on new ones and I will do the same.
